Eppure soffia, è di Bertoli però l'ha rifatta ultimamente Ligabue e sinceramente è una versione che preferisco quindi vi posto quella. La canzone è comunque bellissima. (bellissima quella dei Weezer!)

CODICEI REM, tra i miei preferiti in assoluto, ne hanno fatta un’altra delle loro, in senso buono si intende. La loro ultima canzone, Until the day is done, anteprima del nuovo album che dovrebbe uscire l’anno prossimo, è stata donata come colonna sonora per un documentario della CNN sullo stato (deprimente) del nostro pianeta. Il documentario si chiama infatti Planet in Peril, pianeta in pericolo. Nel video potete vedere il trailer del documentario con la canzone in sottofondo, e con l’autore del documentario Anderson Cooper in compagnia di un po’ di animali che non se la passano molto bene.
I REM non hanno mai nascosto il loro impegno ambientale e sociale. I cugini di soundsblog ci ricordano che nel 2002 Bad Day fu usata per un altro documentario di Cooper. Io vi ricordo solo - tra le tante - la canzone Fall on Me dall’album Life’s Rich Pageant del 1986 (si, i REM esistevano molto prima di Losing my Religion!), una delle prime canzoni in assoluto che parlava di inquinamento atmosferico, e la canzone che me ne fece innamorare…
